So you want to write for Nav Bharat Journal? That’s great. We’re always searching for new ideas, but we’re also very stingy with our readers’ time. These pages are not filled with “content”, but stories, insights, and analyses that matter.
Read through this entire page if you would like to get published here. It encompasses precisely what we want and, more importantly, what we will never accept.
Who should send us a pitch?
We don’t care what you do or how many degrees you have. We care about what you know.
We’re looking for:
- Industry Insiders: Those working in tech, finance or marketing who view the shifts before the rest of us.
- Entrepreneurs: Founders who can be real about the actual “building” phase, not just the success stories.
- Analysts & Students: Anyone with a keen eye on Indian current affairs or culture.
- Creative Voices: Writers who discover an original take on Bollywood, OTT or the creator economy that isn’t just another recap.
- The Bottom Line: If you have a perspective grounded in real-world experience or deep research, we want to see it.
The Topics We Cover
Nav Bharat Journal is a broad platform, but we have specific interests:
- Current Affairs: Don’t just tell us what happened. Tell us why it happened and what it means for the next six months.
- Business & Startups: Practical advice, founder journeys, and market shifts within India.
- Technology: We want to know how tech affects real people. Skip the spec sheets; give us the impact.
- Digital Marketing & SEO: This is for the pros. Give us tactics, case studies, and things that actually work in 2026.
- Lifestyle & Culture: Content must be rooted in the Indian experience. No “Western imports” allowed.
- The Creator Economy: Deep dives into how influencers and creators are actually changing the business landscape in India.
The “Rules of the Road” (Don’t Skip This)
We have a few non-negotiables. If you break any of these, your submission is rejected.
- Fresh Original: The work must be 100% new. If it’s been published anywhere — on your blog, LinkedIn, Medium or anywhere else — “no.” We check with tools. If we discover afterwards that you have “recycled” a post, it will be deleted and you blacklisted.
- At Least 800 Words: Any topic that is worth writing about deserves room. If you’re under 800 words in your draft, we can almost guarantee that you haven’t gone deep enough. Don’t add “fluff” to hit the number—we’ll edit it out anyway.
- Human Writing Only: We can spot an AI-generated “chatbot” article from a mile away. If your submission lacks a human voice, original thought, or personal insight, it will be rejected. We want your brain, not a prompt.
- Source Your Facts: If you use a stat or make a big claim, you must link to a credible source. A number without a source is just a guess, and we don’t publish guesses.
- No Disguised Ads: If the real goal of your article is to promote your own company, app, or service, that is an advertisement. We don’t do “sneaky” marketing. For sponsored posts, email business@navbharatjournal.com.
- Disclosure & Conflict of Interest: If you are writing about a company you work for, own shares in, or represent as a client, you must tell us. We believe in total transparency with our readers.
Format & Logistics
- Files: Send your article as a Google Doc link or a Word file. Please do not paste the text into the email body; it’s a nightmare to format.
- Structure: Use clear subheadings (H2, H3). Keep your paragraphs short. Most people read this on a phone—don’t give them a “wall of text.”
- Bio: Include a 2-3 sentence bio at the end. Tell us who you are and where people can find you (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Images: If you have a specific photo, attach it separately. You must own the rights to it. We don’t use random images pulled from Google.
- Links: You are allowed one link back to your own site or social profile in your bio. Editorial links within the article must be high-quality and relevant (no “spammy” anchor text).
What Happens After You Hit “Send”?
- Review: A human reads every submission. We don’t use automated filters.
- Timeline: You should hear back within three to five working days.
- Editing: We will edit for length, clarity and style. We won’t make any changes to your fundamental message without consulting you, but we will smooth the writing.
- The Final Word: We reserve the right to remove or move any content at our discretion if it no longer fits our direction or becomes a legal liability.
- Community: If your piece goes live, check the comments! We love writers who engage with our readers.
The Fine Print (Payment & Copyright)
- Payment: At this time, Nav Bharat Journal does not pay for guest contributions. What you get is a professional byline, a real audience, and a platform that carries weight.
- Copyright: You keep your authorship. We get the right to publish, distribute, and promote the piece across our channels. If you want to repost it later, just add “This piece originally appeared on Nav Bharat Journal” with a link back to us.
